This fall, Christiana Care expects a great demand for flu shots and advises the public to schedule on-site flu vaccine clinics with Christiana Care Occupational Health Services as soon as possible.
Christiana Care is scheduling flu shot clinics between Oct. 1 and Dec. 1, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost will remain the same as last year – $27.
Employers with less than 20 employees receiving the vaccine must pay an hourly rate of $55. The fee will be waived for employers with more than 20 employees being vaccinations.
Christiana Care will continue its popular flu voucher program this year. Flu vouchers can be purchased for employees who are unable to attend an on-site clinic or they can be given to new employees who start after the workplace clinic has been held.
Employees can then take these vouchers to any Christiana Care Occupational Health office at a time of their choosing.
