Sunday services this week at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church at 15 E. Green St. include Holy Eucharist, Rite I at 8 a.m.; and Holy Eucharist Rite II at 9:30 a.m. at Old St. Anne’s Church at the corner of S. Broad St. and St. Anne’s Church Road.
A healing service is conducted each Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the town church. Evening Prayer is celebrated at 5 p.m. on Wednesday at Old St. Anne’s.
Vacation Bible School, Studio-Go, a game show, will be held for five successive Wednesdays in July. Go to our Web site below to register. It is free and all are welcome.

Tree of Life Evangelical Lutheran Church news
The TOL Summer Picnic will be July 19. Mark your calendars and keep an eye out for sign up sheets for attendance and food contributions.
Sunday School and Children’s Church will take a summer break. However, the nursery is available year-round.

Sylvia Schill reports that 18 of the TOL youth represented Tree of Life in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Middletown. The team raised $1,476 and will probably raise more than $2,000 when all is said and done, thanks to matching funds.
A family is needed to host an exchange student for five to 10 months. Host families can be young couples – 25 years of age or older, single parents with teenagers, empty-nesters or retirees. Check out the flyer on the information table bulletin board.

Mt. Pisgah U.A.M.E. Church will sell dinners Friday, June 19, at 11 a.m. The menu includes barbeque spare ribs, fish and chicken. Each dinner will include sides of potato salad, green beans, macaroni and cheese, dessert and a roll.
The price is $10 each.

Taekwon-Do Summer Course
Middletown Baptist Church is hosting a free beginner Taekwon-Do course through Aug. 26.
The course will meet each Wednesday, from 7 to 8 p.m.
This is the fourth year that the course has been offered. Tony Skinner, an internationally recognized sixth-degree black-belt instructor, will teach the class.
The course will feature various self-defense techniques utilizing kicking, punching and blocking.

Middletown Seventh-day Adventist Church Vacation Bible School
Middletown Seventh-day Adventist Church will hold a three-day Vacation Bible School Monday, June 22, to Wednesday, June 24, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
This year the theme is “Avalanche Ranch.” Each evening the children are invited to participate in fast-paced learning about Bible characters, take part in selected fun crafts, enjoy delightful snacks, and many other activities designed to help them grow in grace and enrich their faith daily.

St. Paul’s Vacation Bible School
St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Odessa will kick off its Vacation Bible School Sunday, June 21, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. with a Family Father’s Day Picnic with the VBS starting at 6:30 p.m.
Hot dogs, veggie dogs and rolls will be supplied. Please bring a covered dish.
Vacation Bible School continues through Thursday, June 25. Preschool – ages 3-5, begins at 4:30 p.m. and ends with a light supper at 6:30 p.m.
Camp for children ages 6 to 12 begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m.
Each Bible trek is supported with science activities, songs, crafts, games and snacks.
