Forest Presbyterian vacation Bible school
Forest Prebyterian Church invites people of all ages to a fun time learning about “The Fisherman’s Story: Jesus Calls Peter,” the vacation Bible school theme for this summer.
The free school will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. each morning from Monday, Aug. 17 through Friday, Aug. 21.
Each day, students will learn one story of Peter’s life and sing songs relating to the stories, do crafts that reinforce the stories, act out the stories with costumes or through puppets, have snacks and play on the equipment in the fenced backyard.
The downstairs of the church, where most activities will take place, is air-conditioned. The church is located at 44 W. Main St., in Middletown, across from The Everett Theatre.
Children may be dropped off as early as 8 a.m. for free play until the program starts. There is no charge. To register, call Alison Matsen at 378-8265.
