Delaware Tech student receives culinary scholarship award

Delaware Tech culinary arts student Ashley Anton, of Middletown, received a $1,000 scholarship from the American Culinary federation's First State Chefs Association.

Anton will use the scholarship money to continue her education at Johnson & Whales University.

First State Chef’s Association President Ray Carpenter and Delaware Tech Culinary Arts Department Chair Ed Hennessy were present during the awards ceremony.
