Convenience store robbed in January and February

Delaware State Police troopers are investigating a weekend robbery at a Kent County convenience store.

The incident occurred around 2:02 a.m. Sunday, April 30 at the Canterbury Shore Stop at 8953 South Dupont Highway, division spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier said.

This is the third time this year the Canterbury Shore Stop has been targeted in a robbery; the first took place on Jan. 15 and the second on Feb. 11. Two suspects in the latter robbery eventually were caught.
