The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Family Carnival will kick off summer in Bear, opening June 12 and running through June 17 at 345 Bear Christiana Road, Bear.

On-site admission is $5 for ages 13-64, free for seniors and free for children ages 12 and younger accompanied by an adult.

Live music will occur at 7 p.m. each evening in the big tent. The band Dub Glenn will get things started on opening night. Family nights are June 13-14, when unlimited-ride wristbands are $20. Three Sheets will perform June 13, and Conley and Watson will perform June 14. On June 15, patrons will enjoy the Fireworks Night, along with live entertainment from Backlash.

Best Kept Secret will perform June 16. As in past years, the finale of the carnival will begin with the parish’s traditional Worker’s Mass at 3 p.m. June 17.

This year, the parish will offer three raffles — the first, a $3,500 grand prize; the second, a $750 cash prize; and the third, a $250 cash prize. The carnival i expecting to offer patrons new games and food. Adult beverages and food are available at concession areas and at The Dugout.

Advance purchase wristbands are available for $40 leading up to the carnival and $45 the week of the carnival. Proceeds benefit the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.
