Armstrong Corner Road will be closed at Summit Bridge Road (US 301) from 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, through 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10, because of the work on the new U.S. 301 project, the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has announced.
During this time, motorists are advised to follow the posted detours and use alternate routes to travel to and from Armstrong Corner Road.
Through traffic along Armstrong Corner Road should use the following posted detours: motorists traveling eastbound on Armstrong Corner Road should follow Choptank Road (SR 15) through the roundabout to Bunker Hill Road (SR 15) to Summit Bridge Road (US 301) and turn left and back to Armstrong Corner Road. ·
Motorists traveling westbound on Armstrong Corner Road should follow Summit Bridge Road (US 301) to Bunker Hill Road (SR 15) and turn right, follow Bunker Hill Road (SR 15) through the roundabout to Choptank Road (ISR 15) and back Armstrong Corner Road.
