Three people have been charged in the robbery of the 301 Truck Plaza on Middletown Warwick Road at about 2 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5, Middletown police said.

A female entered the store, approached the clerk, and demanded money while threatening and implying the use of a firearm. She obtained undetermined amount of money while a second suspect, a man, was seen standing outside of the front door of the store. The third suspect remained in the driver seat of a silver Kia Forte for the duration of the incident.

The Middletown police alerted local authorities in Maryland where police located the vehicle and took the three suspects into custody. The suspects were identified as Amanda K. Hodgson, 26, of Wilmington, Bryant L. Brown, 29 of New Castle/Wilmington, and David Logan.

Hodgson was subsequently charged with first degree robbery, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, and second degree conspiracy.

Brown was subsequently charged with first degree robbery, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, and second degree conspiracy.

Logan was subsequently charged with first degree robbery and second degree conspiracy.

All three subjects are being held in Maryland awaiting extradition to Delaware.
