VegRehoboth will hold the sixth annual celebration of plant-based living, Rehoboth Beach VegFest, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 9 at Epworth United Methodist Church, 19285 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach.
This feast/fare/marketplace is one of the premier plant-based events in Delaware. There is no charge for attendance, and the first 200 attendees will receive a goody bag full of samples and coupons.
The festival features a lineup of speakers, cooking demos, yoga, massage therapists, a kids tent, live music, arts and crafts vendors, local nonprofits and community organizations and food vendors.
The weekend of June 8-10 will have VegFest activities. There is a film screening set for June 8 at the Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware, 30486 Lewes Georgetown Highway, Lewes. After the festival June 9, there will be an art opening at Gallery 50, 50 Wilmington Ave., Rehoboth Beach, featuring artists with a plant-based sensitivity and appetizers provided by Cultured Pearl. The Sunday brunch, set for June 10, has sold out every year, and reservations are recommended.
