Greg Raspberry, 56, wanted for two robberies Monday in Wilmington, the third Wednesday on Kirkwood Highway in the Elsmere area.
Delaware State Police and the Wilmington Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating Greg Raspberry, 56, of Wilmington, who is wanted for committing three bank robberies in the last three days.
On Wednesday, April 4 at about 1:30 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a bank robbery at the PNC Bank at 2203 Kirkwood Highway west of Wilmington in the Elsmere area.
Witnesses said a black male suspect approached an employee as she stood behind the counter. The suspect demanded money from the cash drawer. The victim complied with the demand and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who fled in an unknown direction.
No weapon was displayed or implied, and there were no injuries as a result of the incident, police said.
Through further investigation, detectives were able to determine that the suspect matched the description of Raspberry, who is wanted for two bank robberies on Monday, April 2, under investigation by the Wilmington Police Department.
Raspberry is described as 5-feet-9-inches tall, 185 pounds, and was last seen wearing a dark knit hat and dark colored jacket.
