There are two council seats up for election this year and three people filed for those seats, including incumbents Cindy Cook and Jermaine Hatton and challenger Edgar Dugan.
The town council meeting will follow the Meet and Greet at 7:30 p.m., also in Town Hall.
The election is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, at Town Hall.
To vote, the person must be at least 18 years old, a citizen of the United States, a registered voter in state elections, and live in town limits or a legal property owner in town limits.
