At the Delaware Business Professionals of America Leadership Conference, 16 students from the Appoquinimink School District won awards in state competitions, and Middletown High senior Justin Chan was elected by his peers as president of the Delaware BPA.
Appoquinimink and Middletown high school students who earned top placements at the Delaware Business Professionals of America Leadership Conference were saluted by the Appoquinimink Board of Education at the April 10 board meeting.
The students have qualified to go on to compete at the BPA National Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas May 9-13.
In addition, Middletown High senior Justin Chan was recognized by the board for outstanding leadership after being elected by his peers as president of the Delaware BPA.
