The Middletown-Odessa-Townsend Chapter of the NAACP is hosting a candidates forum Thursday, Aug. 16, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., before the Sept. 6 primary elections.

The Middletown-Odessa-Townsend Chapter of the NAACP is hosting a candidates forum Thursday, Aug. 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at Living Grace Worship Cathedral, 301 Wood St., Middletown.

The forum is a chance for voters to meet candidates and ask questions before the Sept. 6 primary elections.

Candidates who have confirmed that they are participating are:

Kathy Jennings - State Attorney General candidate;

Chris Johnson - State Attorney General candidate;

Tim Mullaney Sr. - State Attorney General candidate;

LaKresha Roberts - State Attorney General candidate;

Debbie Harrington - candidate for 9th District State Representative;

Jim Ryan - candidate for 9th District State Representative;

David Carter - candidate for New Castle County Council;

Bill Powers - candidate for New Castle County Council.

Light refreshments will be served.
