The Middletown High School Homecoming events open to the community start Friday, Sept. 28 with a pre-game celebration at 5 p.m., at Cavalier Stadium on South Broad Street in back of Everett Meredith Middle School, the former high school.

The event will include inflatables, grade level booths, food sponsored by the Band Boosters, and pep rally performances by the cheerleaders.

The marching band’s pre-game salute will include alumni band members. More than 70 grads have already committed. Former band members are encouraged to sign up at the website https://goo.gl/forms/MitrmcXnCbghXMRf2.

At 7:30 p.m., the undefeated Middletown football team will host St. Georges Tech.

The Homecoming king and queen will be announced at halftime.

Here is the 2018 Homecoming Court, as voted on by their classmates:

KING CANDIDATES: Ted Doyle, Luc Dubois, Madison Edwards, Drew Fry, Chance Gagnon and Ethan Nylander.

QUEEN CANDIDATES: Alexis Anibal, Brenna DeRocilli, Kahlea Henry, Alynda Lorusso, Jaden McGeoch.

CLASS REPRESENTATIVES:

Freshman Class - Will Austin, Braden Davis, Mason Murphy, Karen Gyamfi, Maddy Hackett and Riley Krueger.

Sophomore Class - Paul Akers, Ben Martin, Kameron Roberts, Brienna Davis, Jordan Harmon, Jada Seals and Amelia VanDyke.

Junior Class - Jacob Poling, Kameron Saunders, Joey Shears, Reese Gray, Marissa Pyatt and Megan Secoy.

Tickets for the football game will be on sale Friday, Sept. 28 at Middletown High from 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. During this presale, tickets will be $5 for adults and $3 for students.

At the stadium on Friday evening, all tickets will be $5.
