Robbery nets arrest; suspect at-large

   A Middletown man was arrested and another sought by Middletown Police after a July 25 robbery in the 100 block of Crawford Street.

   Police said Jerelle Ringgold, 22, of the 500 block of New St., pointed a gun at the victim and took his wallet containing approximately $100. MPD detectives arrested Ringold and charged him with first degree robbery, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and second degree conspiracy.

   Ringgold failed to post a $53,000 bond and was committed to the Department of Corrections.

   Police said Clifton Lloyd, 24, of Middletown was with Ringgold during the robbery. A warrant has been issued for Lloyd. Anyone knowing of Lloyd’s whereabouts is asked to call 376-9950 or 911.
