A 20-year-old Middletown man was arrested March 8 at 7:45 p.m. after Middletown Police executed a search warrant at a residence that yielded 15 grams of marijuana that police said were packaged for distribution and sale, and drug paraphernalia.
Gregory Sayers was taken into custody after Middletown officers responded to unit block of South Cummings Drive in reference to assisting Probation and Parole. Police said various prescription medications were also recovered.
Sayers was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, maintaining a dwelling for keeping controlled substances, possession of a non-controlled prescription drug (two counts), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a non-narcotic Schedule III controlled substance.
Sayers was arraigned and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,900 secured bail.
