On Monday, at 11:12 a.m. Delaware State Troopers were called to the Getty Gas Station at 1400 South DuPont Highway near Delaware City for the report of a robbery that just occurred.
In this case, a white male suspect entered the store and displayed a gun at the clerk. The bandit demanded money from the register and the clerk complied. After the heist, the suspect fled the store in a northbound direction towards Route 72.
The clerk was not injured.
The suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark sunglasses and a dark colored scarf over his face.
There is no surveillance video in this case. Anyone with information pertaining to this robbery is asked to call investigators at 302-834-2630 ext. 6 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
