Visiting New Jersey man charged with mischief

   A 34-year-old Camden, N.J. man was charged with malicious mischief by a motor vehicleand operating an off the highway vehicle on private property July 24.

   Middletown Police officers were dispatched to the M.O.T. Cavs Youth Football Complex on Silver Lake Road for an accident involving an ATV. Police said suspect William Scott was driving the ATV and ran into a wire fence, damaging the wire and pulling a wood stake out of the ground.

   The suspect was transported to Christiana Hospital for treatment for a concussion. Police said Scott was in Middletown for a family get-together.
