Middletown man charged on Dover sex offender warrants

Officers with the Middletown Police Department have arrested a Dover man on active warrants from the Dover Police Department. Lorenzo Webb, 55, was taken into custody for failure to re-register as a sex offender after he allegedly failed to report an address change to the state Bureau of Investigation, said Dover Police spokesman Capt. Tim Stump. Webb was committed to the Vaughn Correctional Center, near Smyrna, after an emergency capias was issued. He is being held in default of a $10,000 cash bond on a probation violation charge.
