A 32-year-old Frog Hollow Country Club employee was charged with two counts of theft July 23. Middletown Police were contacted by the Frog Hollow general manager who said he observed the employee, Timothy J. Boyer, of the 800 block of Shallcross Lake Road, loading stolen apparel and golf clubs from the golf shop into the trunk of his white Mercedes at 1:45 p.m.

Police said the general manager placed his vehicle in the path of Boyer’s vehicle to prevent his escape and awaited for their arrival. Shortly afterward, police arrived and took Boyer into custody.
