The Delaware field office for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist in their mission to promote a culture where all Delaware employers support and value the military service of their employees.
Members of the National Guard and Reserve and their civilian employers form an alliance that is essential to national security.
ESGR, a Department of Defense agency, operates through a network of thousands of volunteers nationwide, conducting volunteer activities, such as employer outreach and awards presentations, military education briefs and mediation.
Volunteers consist of business executives, military spouses, civic leaders, military personnel and patriotic citizens.
Volunteers, with as little as a few hours a month, can improve the employer relations of brave men and women that place themselves in harms way, leave their families and put their careers on hold as they preserve the nation’s way of life.
To learn more about volunteering, call Christine Kubik, executive director of the Delaware field office for ESGR at 302-326-7582, or go to www.deesgr.org.
