    On Wednesday, a 41-year-old Middletown man was charged with first degree robbery after an incident at the Middletown Shore Stop on 38 E. Main St.
    Suspect Oscar Martinez, who lives on the 300 Block of N. Broad St., was arrested by Middletown Police after allegedly stealing $30 from a 53-year-old cashier at the Shore Stop. According to police, Martinez entered the convenience store and handed a note to the cashier demanding money or the cashier would be stabbed to death.
    Martinez was identified by police in connection with the incident and arrested. Police recovered $5 from the suspect. Martinez was arraigned via video and failed to post a $10,000 bond. He was then committed to Howard Young Prison.
