Democrat Bill Shahan, a county Land Use Department employee, said today that he will be announcing his candidacy for New Castle County Executive Saturday at a press conference in Wilmington.
Shahan will campaign against current County Executive Paul G. Clark, also a democrat.
This will be Shahan’s first time running for office.
