Robert L. Clough of Dover passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 83.
Mr. Clough was born in Smyrna, son of the late William and H. Catherine Davis Clough.
He was a World War II Veteran who served in the U.S. Navy.
He retired from Diver Chevrolet.
In his later years, Mr. Clough enjoyed spending time at the beach with his family and shooting pool with his friends in Fort Myers, Fla.
He was survived by his wife of 60 years, Helen Rosa Rivera Clough; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ron Clough, and Bruce and Candace Clough; a daughter and a son-in-law, Linda and Tom Bledsoe; four grandchildren, Jeni, Alisha, Becky and Elizabeth; four great-grandchildren, Noah, Sadie, Kate and Samantha; and his beloved nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, June 10, at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Hwy., Newark, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial with military honors will be at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
