Joseph J. “Joe” Kemble Sr. of Middletown passed away Monday, March 30, 2009, at his home. He was 84.
Mr. Kemble was born Sept. 13, 1924.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Olga (Kerby) Kemble; a son, Joseph J. Kemble Jr. and his wife, Maureen, of Newark; a daughter, Roberta Schroeder and her husband, Bob, of Middletown; six grandchildren, Kevin, Kellie and Kyle, all of Newark, and Michael, Brian and Bobby, all of Middletown.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, April 2, at 10 a.m., at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, 2431 Frazer Road, Newark, where friends may call at 9:30 a.m.
Burial will be held at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Road, Wilmington, DE 19810.
