Samantha Ashley “Sammy” Miller of Townsend passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010, at her home. She was 16.
Sammy was born May 5, 1994, in Newark, daughter of Holly C. Davis and Charles J. Miller.
She was a student at Middletown High School, and enjoyed playing soccer, music and paintball. She loved hanging out with her friends and was adored by two special puppies, Peanut and Butters.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Leona Johnston.
She leaves many wonderful memories to her mother and stepfather, Holly and Eric Monnat of Magnolia; her father and stepmother, Charles and Novah Miller of Townsend; a brother, Lance Miller of Townsend; a stepsister, Olivia Monnat of Magnolia; her maternal grandparents, Karen and Dan Smith of Newark, and Carl and Sue Davis of Middletown; her stepgrandfather, Allen Schrader of Townsend; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and four very special friends, Meghan, Becky, Branda and Benny.
Services will noon Thursday, July 1, at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, where friends may call two hours earlier.
Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington.
