Donald K. “Don” Hultberg of Warwick, Md., died suddenly July 12, 2009. He was 67.
Mr. Hultberg was born Nov. 20, 1941, in Wilmington, son of the late William and Evelyn Crozier Hultberg.
He was a teamster who drove truck for 40 years and he retired in 2007 from NKS Distributors.
Mr. Hultberg was an avid fan of the University of Delaware Blue Hens for well more than 40 years. He was devoted to and proud of raising three wonderful children and three grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 37 years and his many friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Hultberg of Warwick; a son, Bruce DuHadaway of Las Vegas; two daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah DuHadaway of Baltimore, and Denise and Steven Fish of Warwick; three grandchildren, Kara Marie Fanning, Korby James Fanning and Trenton A. Haven; a brother, Lawrence Hultberg of Newark; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 16, at 7 p.m. at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 318 George St., Chesapeake City, Md., where friends may call at 6 p.m. To honor Don, the family encourages everyone to dress casually.
Burial will be private.
