Robert E. ‘Railroad Bob’ Brunell

    Robert E. “Railroad Bob” Brunell of Townsend died after a short illness Tuesday, April 21, at his home. He was 61.
    He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, and served in the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1971.
    Mr. Brunell retired from Amtrak after 30 years of service.
    He is survived by his wife, Riki; and four stepchildren, Darry Cooper, Riki Miller, Paris Miller and Ryan Miller.
    There will be no services as per his request.    
    Memorial contributions may sent to the Port Penn VFW No. 838, P.O. Box 5, Port Penn, DE 19731. Friends may send letters to 812 Noxontown Road, Townsend, DE 19734.
