OBITUARY: Myron Lebischak

    Myron Lebischak of Warwick, Md., passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at home in the care of his family. He was 86.
    Mr. Lebischak was a World War II veteran serving in the 104th Infantry Co. H, 2nd Battalion, 414th Regiment.
    He was self employed, operating Harry’s Market, a corner grocery store in Eddystone, Pa., until his retirement in 1991, when he resettled in Warwick.
    Mr. Lebischak’s pastimes consisted of watching horse racing, especially horses trained by Gene Weymouth and Michael Dickenson, and cutting grass with his 22-inch push mower.
    He is survived by his son and a daughter-in-law, Harry and Jacqueline Lebischak; a son-in-law Carlos Marroquin; five grandsons; and a sister, Helen Urban.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Zaplitney Lebischak; a son, Steve Lebischak; a daughter, Julia Marroquin; and a brother, Dr. Peter Lebischak. 
    The family would like to express its appreciation and gratitude to Delaware Hospice and all of the nurses at Union Hospital in Elkton, Md., who cared for Myron.
    Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
