Dear Editor,
I’ll miss you Jessica, as we all will.
You have been so helpful with all our news in Springmill as well as the Peach Festival, The Everett Theatre, Main Street activities, town council meetings, elections, special events and just about anything concerning the M.O.T. area. Whenever an event was about to take place, all it took was a phone call and you were there with notebook and camera.
Keeping the community aware of activities, and people in the news and where they have been or were going was something you did very well. A special article relating to “Where in the World has The Middletown Transcript Been?” pin-pointed all the places visited by residents and was most interesting as it seemed no one stays home anymore.
I always look forward to reading The Middletown Transcript each week and discovering interesting news and people.
As you move on to a new career and different responsibilities, keep the M.O.T. memories alive by visiting the area and just enjoying the activities without your notebook and camera. I wish you well and know that you played an important role in Middletown for the past four and a half years. Keep us in mind as you begin your new position and the best of luck to you.
