The Middletown Cavaliers boys lacrosse team improved to 2-1 on the season after defeating William Penn 16-2 on Wednesday.

The Cavaliers took an early 3-1 lead after one quarter and a 6-1 lead at the halftime break. Middletown broke the game open in the second half, outscoring the Colonials 10-1.

Matt Kracyla led the way for Middletown, scoring a team high 4 goals, followed by teammates Luc Dubois and Max Myers who both finished with three goals apiece.

Goalie Nicholas Johnston made 8 saves for the Cavaliers in the win.

Middletown is back in action this Friday hosting the Dover Senators at 4 p.m.
