The Appoquinimink Jaguars advanced to the DIAA Boys Lacrosse State Tournament Quarterfinals Tuesday night, defeating No. 14 Tatnall 11-7.

Cross Ferrara led the way for the Jaguars, scoring a game high six goals in the victory.

Jackson Truitt finished with two goals and Zach Bowen, Campbell Garrison and Connor Graser all finished with a goal apiece to round out the Appo goal scorers.

Up 3-0 after one quarter, the Jags led by just a goal heading into halftime, leading Tatnall 5-4.

Appo would take a 9-5 in the third quarter, holding off Tatnall in the fourth to hold on for the first round win.

The Jaguars will face-off against No. 6 Caesar Rodney in the quarterfinals Saturday.
