      No. 23 seed Appoquinimink jumped to an early lead and topped No. 10 host Charter School of Wilmington 46-32 Tuesday night in the Delaware High School Girls Basketball Tournament first round.
      The Jaguars (12-9) now play at No. 7 St. Elizabeth (12-8) on Thursday at 7 p.m.
      Against Charter, Tierra Scott had 13 points and eight rebounds. A balanced attack also received scoring from Toresha Foster (10 points), Amani Clark (eight), Ashley Smith (eight) and Nicole Cwiertniewicz (seven).
