Get Fit Youth Camp in July
Nationally Certified Personal Trainers Tone & Condition Inc. will host a SmartexFitness Get Fit Youth Camp on July 25 and 26 at the M.O.T. Youth Football Fields on Silver Lake Road in Middletown.
The camp will teach basic speed, agility, resistance training, balance and flexibility drills and skills. Dr. Calvin T. Wilson of The Next Level will present basic healthy nutrition guidelines on sports performance and nutrition, and how minds and bodies are affected. The camp will integrate tools and equipment into exercises, drills, skills and presentations.
Included for the campers are refreshments, T-shirts and free giveaways, and vendors will be at the camp. Medals will be presented to all participants who compete at the camp. Campers should wear loose clothing and spiked shoes.
The camp for kids age 8 to 11 will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Registration is from 7:15 to 7:45 a.m. The 12- to 15-year-old camp runs from 1 to 5 p.m., with registration from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m.
The camp fee for both days is $89, and a group rate of two or more campers is available for $69. All campers must have their registration forms signed by parents.
