The Sports and Athletic Section of the New Castle County Department of Community Services is now accepting registrations in 25 adult softball leagues (250 teams) for the spring/summer season.
Men’s teams may request to play on specific nights (Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday, or Sunday). Leagues are also offered for women (Tuesday/Thursday), co-rec (Friday or Monday) and for Senior Men (Monday/Wednesday).
All teams will play approximately 18 games. League fees range from $400 to $445. Teams must also play an additional cash payment to officials at the field before each game (except Senior Leagues). The season opens April 23 and will run until the mid-August playoffs.
In addition to league entry fees, teams are responsible for providing their own matching shirt (numbered), their own playing equipment and one new softball for each home game.
