Rose Monaco, 91, of Middletown, DE passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011.

Born on June 20, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Nuzio and Theresa (Scafidi) Ingargiola.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Vincent Passalacqua; grandchildren, Francesca Powell and her husband, Chris, Bianca Passalacqua, Kim Gaines and Kristie Monaco; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher Monaco Powell, Gianna Theresa Powell, Enza Angeline Patterson, Rachel and Alexandra Gaines, Kayla and Faith Monaco.

She has joined her husband, Joseph Monaco and daughter, Joan Passalacqua in heaven.

Mass of Christian burial will be offered 8 am on Wednesday, December 21 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 371 East Main Street in Middletown, where friends may visit with her family from 7:00-8:00 am.  Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, NY.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Amyloidosis Foundation, 7151 N. Main Street, Suite 208, Clarkston, MI  48346.
