Wilmington's St. Patrick's Day parade canceled for Saturday

     The ICCD's 35th annual St. Patrick's Day parade scheduled for Saturday, March 13, is being canceled due to expected bad weather Saturday.
     The hooley (party) at St. Patrick's is on, rain or shine, from noon to 2:30 p.m.
     Wilmington Mayor Jim Baker will paint the green stripe on King Street at 11th Street at noon Friday, March 12, the traditional "start-me-up" of parade weekend festivities in the city.
