For the next few weeks, the Paul Pratt Memorial Library in Cohasset, Mass., is going to the dogs. Children’s librarian Sharon Moody has invited local therapy dogs to the children’s room to listen to young readers — and hopefully help them to gain confidence in their reading skills. The group of friendly, well-trained dogs and their owners are members of Scituate, Mass.-based non-profit Dog B.O.N.E.S. (Building Opportunities for Nurturing and Emotional Support).
