Deidrea Haysel of Townsend will appear on ABC's reality show “Shark Tank,” Friday, April 22, at 8 p.m.

The show gives entrepreneurs a chance to pitch their products to a group of investors, who can then decide to invest in the business or pass on it.

Haysel pitched her company, Hot Mama Gowns, which sells 100 percent organic cotton hospital maternity gowns designed for comfort, function and discreet breastfeeding.

The “Shark” panel consisted of real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran, infomercial industry pioneer Kevin Harrington, technology innovator Robert Herjavec, fashion icon Daymond John and financial expert Kevin O’Leary.

Haysel, a mother of two, started Hot Mama Gowns in 2006 after the birth of her daughter. She recognized the typical “generic” hospital gown was not made for a woman, let alone a woman about to give birth. Using her birth experience as a guide, Deidrea designed the ideal hospital maternity gown, the Hot Mama Gown.

Manufactured in the United States, Hot Mama Gowns fit Mom before, during and after delivery. Hot Mama Gowns have a full snap-down back, which allows the woman to keep her backside covered while walking.

Did she reel in a shark, or perhaps all five? Find out Friday night at 8 p.m.
