A 19-year-old Middletown man was arrested and charged with 12 counts of dealing in child pornography on May 24 after police executed a computer search warrant at his residence in the first block of Franklin Drive.


   A 19-year-old Middletown man was arrested and charged with 12 counts of dealing in child pornography on May 24 after police executed a computer search warrant at his residence in the first block of Franklin Drive.

   Middletown Police and members of the Delaware State Police High Tech Crimes Unit and Child Predator Task force said they combined on an investigation that revealed that a computer associated with the Franklin Drive address had shared known images of child pornography.  Investigators said they seized and examined each computer from the residence and learned that a resident, Charles Bellmyer III had downloaded, possessed and shared known images of child pornography.

   Bellmyer was released after posting $30,000 secured bail.
