Coach’s Outlook: “Our goal is to win more than 12 games this season, win a game in the tournament and hopefully see Caravel a little later on [in the tournament],” Pisani said.

2011 Record: 9-9; did not qualify for state tournament.

Coach’s Outlook: “With seven starters back, we have high hopes for the season,” Tiberi said. “There have been many positive changes made so far that hopefully the players will use as motivation for success. Individual goals are set each week to maintain focus and allow us to prepare for one opponent at a time.”


St. Georges Tech


Coach: Roger Seedorf

Years coaching: Six

Returning starters: OF Nicole Musser (Second Team All-State) P Gabby Clark (Honorable Mention All-State), OF Katie Sterling (First Team All-Conference), 1B Sarah Thursby (First Team All-Conference), SS Lauren Miller (Second Team All-Conference), C Noelle Edwards (Second Team All-Conference)

2011 record: 13-4; lost to Sussex Tech 2-1 in the first round of state tournament.

Coach’s Outlook: “Our team looks solid again this year with seven of nine returning starters and a few other JV players from last year ready to play at the varsity level,” Seedorf said. “Our goal is to continue to improve upon our performance from last year and compete further in the state tournament. Our senior leaders Sarah Thursby, Lauren Miller, and Kelsi Thuer are very excited about our team’s prospects with almost every varsity player returning…I believe our team can compete at the highest level.”
