Premier Physical Therapy & Sports Performance and the Middletown Athletic Club are organizing the 19th annual Peach Festival 5K on Saturday, Aug. 15 at Silver Lake Park at South Catherine Street and East Cochran Street in Middletown.

Registration starts at 7 a.m. The Kiddie K will be held at 7:50 a.m., and the 5K begins at 8 a.m.

The entry fee is $25 for the 5K, and $10 for the Kiddie K for children under 10. All who pre-register will receive an “Olde-Tyme Peach Festival 5K” t-shirt. Post-race refreshments will be provided.

Prizes will be awarded to the top overall male runner and top overall female runner, and to the top three male and female runners in each age group.

Proceeds will be donated to the All Sports Boosters at Middletown High and Appoquinimink High to use for scholarships for high school athletes who have displayed exemplary sportsmanship.
