More than 900,000 vehicles pass through three toll plazas over the long weekend.

The three toll plazas in the state saw more than 900,000 vehicles pass through over the long Labor Day weekend Friday, Sept. 4 through Monday, Sept. 7, accounting for about $2.6 million in tolls.

Over the four days Dover Route 1 Plaza traffic came to 281,029 vehicles, about 27 percent higher than last year’s 220,252.

Route 1 at Biddles Corner, at 268,209, was up by about 7 percent.
