Live stage performances of the Christmas classic “Miracle on 34th Street” started last weekend and will continue this weekend at the Everett Theatre in Middletown.

Show times are Friday, Dec. 11 and Saturday, Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18.

Santa is available after the show for photos.

“Audiences this past weekend responded to the show with sustained applause,” said Richard Forsten, president of the Everett Theater. “We hope more of the community can make it out this coming weekend.”

UPCOMING FILMS

On Friday, Dec. 18 and Saturday, Dec. 19, the Everett will round out its Christmas season with the beloved film “It’s A Wonderful Life.” The movie starts each night at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are only $5.

“Everyone should see this movie on the big screen,” Forsten said.

After a break for the holidays, films return to the Everett on Friday, Jan. 8 and Saturday, Jan. 9, with “Inside Out.” Both showings start at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are only $5.

“Start the New Year right with one of this past summer’s funniest family-friendly films,” Forsten added.

The movie is being shown in partnership with Silver Lake Elementary School and a portion of the proceeds will go to the school.
