Featuring Gershwin tunes like "Someone to Watch Over Me," the show opened March 1 and continues March 7-9

Middletown High School’s 2019 musical, “Crazy for You,” a romantic comedy with exciting dance numbers, continues March 7-9 at 7 p.m., at the high school, 120 Silver Lake Road, Middletown. The show opened March 1.

When banker Bobby Child from New York City is sent to the mining town of Deadrock, Nevada to foreclose on an old theatre that has outlived its glory days, he meets the girl of his dreams and learns important lessons about love, fate, and showbiz.

The performance features Gershwin classics such as “I’ve Got Rhythm,” “Someone to Watch Over Me” and “Embraceable You,” paired with a hilarious script by Ken Ludwig.

Mistaken identity, tap dancing Follies Girls, and gun-slinging cowboys ensure that “Crazy for You” will be an event you won’t want to miss!

Tickets are $8 for students and senior citizens, and $10 for adults, and can be reserved online at middletownhs.org.
