The indie-rockers will likely introduce The Woodlands of Dover with their latest EP, “When Night Becomes Day,” featuring the single “Color.”

Finish Ticket shed light on the origins of their band name, touring with Fitz and The Tantrums and coming to the First State in this edition of Five Questions, plus an extra one.

For those who may not be fans yet, describe your music in 10 words or less.

Melodically-driven, dynamic alternative rock.

How did you come up with your name and what does it mean to you?

The band name does not have a lot of meaning to us. We came up with it in 2008 while in high school when we formed the band, because we needed a name to release music under and ended up sticking with it ever since.

Share something unique/cool/fun that most fans might not know about you or the band.

Our singer and bass player are twin brothers. Also we happened to meet our drummer on Craigslist, who then recruited his older brother to come on tour with us as our keyboardist.

Have you ever been to Delaware?

We have never been to Delaware. We’re excited for our first time there to be playing Firefly though!

Who are a couple of your favorite music artists?

The Killers, The Strokes, Cage the Elephant, Foals and The Beatles are a few of our favorite bands.

What are you doing for summer vacation?

We will be on tour for most of summer, playing shows supporting Fitz and the Tantrums and multiple music festivals.
