When a band brings the heat at a small music festival, you expect them to sizzle on a grander stage like Firefly.

This is the situation for the New York-based indie-pop band The Heydaze. The quartet made their Delaware debut at June Jam in Houston last week, headlining for hundreds of revelers. The guys worked the crowd like the Pied Piper, crooning original jams "Adderall" and "Dumb," while also throwing in a Destiny's Child cover.

Now the Heydaze will share their talents to an overwhelmingly larger crowd in The Woodlands of Dover at Firefly this afternoon. Last year Firefly attracted 90,000 festivalgoers.

The Heydaze dished on coming to Firefly, shampoo and Twenty One Pilot in this edition of Five Questions.

We're all big fans of Twenty One Pilots, James Bay, John Mayer, Jon Bellion and, of course, Kelly Clarkson.

What are you doing for summer vacation?

Our work is kind of vacation and our vacation is kind of work. We'll be playing a bunch of shows, working hard on promoting new music and hot-tubing.
