VIDEO - Interview with Tasheema Heyliger, the nurse who was detained by state troopers, Dover police

When stopped in traffic on June 9 while Black Lives Matter protesters were on Route 13, Tasheema Heyliger stepped out of her car with her phone.

Even though she was not with the group, she was tackled and cuffed by Dover police officers.

Here's her story in an interview with Andre Lamar.

Police were contacted this afternoon:

Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman, spokesman for the Dover Police Department, said a complaint was received and the case is under review.    When Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe, public information officer for Delaware State Police Troop 3, was asked to comment, she referred the inquiry to the Dover Police Department.

The story will be updated when more information is available.
