Delaware letter carriers will participate in the Stamp Out Hunger campaign in order to provide food assistance to Delawareans who rely on the Food Bank of Delaware's network of hunger-relief partners for support.

Delaware letter carriers will participate in the Stamp Out Hunger campaign in order to provide food assistance to Delawareans who rely on the Food Bank of Delaware’s network of hunger-relief partners for support.

Program participants are encouraged to leave a bag containing nonperishable foods next to the mailbox before the time of regular mail delivery May 14. Accepted foods are canned soup, canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats and cereals.

Postal customers will receive a special Food Lion Feeds plastic bag in their mailbox to collect and store items. Food items should be in nonbreakable containers, such as boxes and cans.
