State's most popular names differ from national list.

Emma and Noah may be popular nationwide, but parents in Delaware last year preferred Ava and Mason.

The U.S. Social Security Administration last week released a list of the most popular baby names from 2015. This week, they sent along Delaware’s most popular.

Nationwide, Noah, Liam and Mason were one, two and three among boys. In Delaware, it was the same names but in a different order, with Mason leading, Noah second and Liam third.

For girls, while Emma topped the national list, the name ranked only fifth in Delaware, behind Ava, Olivia, Sophia and Abigail in first through fourth. It was the second year in a row that Emma and Noah topped the U.S. list.
